Technical rehabilitation and upgrading of two schoolbook printing plants in Erbil and Suleimanyiah, northern Iraq. The assignment done in close cooperation with the local Governments

  • Proposals and specification of new machinery including extension of existing printing facilities. The work included building specifications, climate control, and logistics to be suitable for the intended printing operations.

  • Procurement Service Contract under which ÅF was responsible for extensive procurement under International Competitive Bidding of printing equipment, spare parts and consumables to the printing plants in northern Iraq. The procurement was done under the UN Food for Oil Programme and in close co-operation with the United Nations Sanctions Committee in New York.
